DH12 Dwarf Knight on riding pig

"The Derschwine Knights are the pride of the Dwarfs who rule the plains at the foot of the mountains. Clad in the thickest armour and riding an animal known for its vicious temper and fantastic taste they are almost unique among the Dwarfs. Dwarfs are not known for cavalry and this has taken Orcish raiders by horrid surprise more than once. Thinking themselves safe in fleeing the short and stocky warriors that pursued them the Orcs slowed and even turned to mock. This cost them their lives as the knights rode them down in a torrent of pink flesh and stomping trotters. Rumours persist of the Derschwine pigs eating the dead of the battlefield. Dwarfs do not deny this after all the pigs that die in combat are used in the same fashion. Riding a pig has some advantages!"

This code contains one 28mm cavalry miniature. Poses (32mm to the eyeline when mounted) scupted by Mike Owen for Alternative Armies during years of 1996-99.
